It’s a motivating reason as to why the Colts have already signed five of their seven draft picks from the 2021 NFL Draft Class—as the only two rookies who remain unsigned are 6th round quarterback Sam Ehlinger (who’s dealing with a horrific family tragedy) and 4th round tight end Kylen Granson respectively.
The Colts also announced the signing of five undrafted rookie free agents, who can also participate this weekend.
This weekend (May 7-9th) will be a good opportunity for the incoming rookies to get their feet wet and learn the ropes a little bit of what it means being a Colt—both on and off the field—and start getting back into team practice habits again.
OTA workouts will soon follow from May 25-27th.
