BROWNSBURG, Ind. – Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy quarterback Luther Richesson had a terrific showing at the Elite 11 Regional in Indianapolis going throw for throw, if not more, with the more touted guys on the field.
Richesson got the ball out quick, he was accurate, and showed nice arm talented on the intermediate and downfield throws.
“I’m not at all satisfied but it’s been fun to get out here and compete with (some of) the best,” Richesson said.
At this point the 6-foot-3, 202-pound Richesson’s offer list includes Appalachian State, Central Michigan, Cincinnati and Michigan State.
“I’ve been in contact with Cincinnati a lot,” Richesson said. “I’m pretty new to recruiting so keeping everything open and talking with everybody.”
Gino Guidugli is leading the charge for Richesson.
“They’ve been in contact with me from the beginning and they showed faith in in me from an early point and I have a great connection with Coach Gino and Coach (Luke) Fickell is awesome and I have a lot of respect for the program.
“I haven’t got to see it in person yet but I plan on doing that soon and they have a great culture and they’ve had a lot of success recently.”
Seems Richesson is destined for a lot of success himself down the road.
