Keeping the core of an improving special teams unit was one of the offseason keys.

The Arizona Cardinals have done that, as they have brought back Ezekiel Turner who decided to sign his tender.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that restricted free agent linebacker Ezekiel Turner has signed his one-year tender.

Turner (6-2, 214) is in his fourth NFL season after signing with the Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Washington in 2018. In his career he has appeared in 44 games (one start) and has 43 special teams tackles. Last year, he played in all 16 games and matched a team high with 15 special teams tackles while also blocking two punts and catching his first career pass on a fake punt. The 24-year old Turner earned PFWA All-Rookie honors in 2018 after having a team-high 22 special teams tackles which included an NFL leading 13 solo tackles.

The Cardinals have brought back almost all special teams contributors, the lone lass was Trent Sherfield.

Welcome back to the desert, Zeke.
