Rams fans end the season feeling moderately confident

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in Los Angeles Rams fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

It’s hard to feel too confident about a loss, whether it’s in Week 1 or the Super Bowl. Losses tend to sap confidence and gee, I wonder why?

Such is certainly the case for the Los Angeles Rams, whose season came to an end in the divisional round, at the hands of the Green Bay Packers. And with the Rams season now in the rearview mirror, fans are left to reflect on it while asking some pretty big questions about the status of the quarterback situation and the coaching staff.

All that makes for an uneasy fanbase, and not surprisingly, fan confidence took a hit this week. According to the latest SB Nation Reacts polls (which you should totally sign up for), just 74% of Rams fans said they are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That mark is down from 92% last week and 78% before the first playoff game.

Still, it’s a mark of how far the Rams came this season — and admittedly how low their lowest lows were — that the confidence at the end of the season was far from the lowest it was throughout the season.

And while the Rams season may be over, NFL fans think the team that beat them will be the team that hoists a trophy in February.

Of the four remaining team, the Packers were picked as most likely to win it all with 36% of the vote, while the defending-champion Kansas City Chiefs came in second.

Enjoy the games this weekend, even if the Rams are sadly absent. And remember to sign up for Reacts.
