Palaie Gaoteote, USC: Injuries limited Gaoteote to just two games in 2020, but the former five-star linebacker has been impactful when healthy posting 96 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss across his first two seasons in Los Angeles. The redshirt sophomore linebacker ranked as the No. 15 overall prospect in the 2018 class.

Jack Lamb, Notre Dame: Sticking with former elite recruits from the West Coast, Lamb is on the transfer market after three years in South Bend. Lamb finished his Irish tenure with 20 total tackles and two tackles for loss across 15 games. Lamb, a California native, ranked as the No. 99 overall prospect in the 2018 class.

Rashie Hodge, New Mexico State: Hodge had a heck of a debut season with the Aggies in 2019, posting 90 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and an interception. Hodge, who came to New Mexico State from the JUCO ranks, sat out the 2020 season with the rest of the New Mexico State roster. Hodge is good enough to jump in the two deep of nearly any P-5 program.

Reynard Ellis, Georgia Southern: A first-team all-conference selection in 2020, Ellis finished the season with 59 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss in nine games. Ellis was building on a 2019 campaign that saw him post 85 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss.
