While he has not made an announcement, it is widely believed Drew Brees has played his final NFL game.
If so, his last game against the Raiders was a memorable one for the former AFC West foe. The Raiders won their first game in Las Vegas, at Allegiant Stadium, against Brees and the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 on a Monday night.
Of course, Brees, 42, spent the first five seasons of his 20-season career as an AFC West rival as the quarterback of the San Diego Chargers. Brees mostly had his way against the Raiders. He was 8-4 in his career against the Raiders.
With it appearing Brees’ next step is the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we bid him a fond farewell.
