Week 4 in the SEC was an exciting one. No story took the headlines quite like Georgia and Alabama. From Nick Saban’s false-positive test to a clash of top-three teams, the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide lived up to the hype on Saturday night in what was the latest Saban victory against a former assistant.
The game represented a bounceback performance for Alabama’s defense, which picked off Stetson Bennett three times.
“Well, we got turnovers,” Saban said. “We got a couple stops on third down, which were critical. They moved the ball a little bit, missed a field goal, which was huge. So, I think just a better job executing. We have to be able to adapt to different things that we see in the game.”
Ultimately, Alabama beat Georgia by a score of 41-24 and is now the SEC’s only remaining undefeated team.
This week will be the fifth week of SEC play. The SEC has four teams ranked in the latest Top 25 AP Poll, down from six last week.
