Football returns in the Southeastern Conference this weekend with several national title contenders among the league’s litany of nationally-ranked teams making their 2020 debuts this season. That means an opportunity to see second-ranked Alabama and No. 3 Georgia try and pass the eye test in respective road contests while the Lane Kiffin era kicks off at Ole Miss against the Florida Gators.
For college football viewers in the South, Week 4 offers this fall’s most appetizing slate to date. And with that being said, hopefully Chris and I can turn the page on a disappointing start and open a new slate with a bunch of winners.
Had it not been for a cancellation and a postponement, we could’ve labeled last weekend a bounce-back week in the picks department. We’re both horrific straight up right now since we’re still getting a feel for some of these teams, but nearing the .500 mark against the spread is always a plus. Remember — we’re picking the best 10 games of the weekend, not necessarily games we’d actually wager on (there are a few realistic plays, however).
