Skyy Clark is ready to make a decision on where he’ll attend college.
On Tuesday, the five-star point guard tweeted that a decision on his recruitment would come October 22nd.
Currently a Class of 2022 recruit, Clark is viewed as a strong reclassification candidate who is currently ranked 13th nationally by 247 Sports. The 6-2, 200-pound guard recently transferred to Brentwood Academy in Tennessee after originally playing in Los Angeles. He holds offers from Kentucky, North Carolina, Arizona, UCLA, Oregon, Florida State, Tennessee, Kansas, Michigan, Memphis and Auburn among others.
If Clark were to announce a commitment soon, it appears the North Carolina Tar Heels would be the pick. Over at Rivals, six straight picks have come in for the Tar Heels, including predictions from Kentucky recruiting analysts Justin Rowland, David Sisk and Travis Graff.
The recent buzz has been that Kentucky and North Carolina would split between Clark and 2021 five-star guard Hunter Sallis, with Clark likely to end up in Carolina and Sallis likely to end up at Kentucky.
Kentucky is still in the mix for Clark, but at this time, it looks like he’ll end up elsewhere for college. Hopefully, this means Sallis eventually picks the Cats, though it’s unclear when he’ll make a college decision.
