Analyzing the new SEC depth charts ahead of opening weekend

A modest drip of college football action will accelerate this weekend into a steady flow with the arrival of the SEC to the party. 

What we’re calling the Week 4 slates features 21 teams playing their first game of the season, including a full slate of SEC intra-conference matchups.

All the new participants mean new depth charts to dig into, giving us insight into what to expect. Here are the biggest takeaways from new depth chart releases around the country. 

Note: While most teams are releasing depth charts, not everybody will. Georgia is notable in that regard.
