Although it’s not technically fall, I’m writing these Quickies enjoying a beautiful fall like morning. It’s perfect football weather and I wish the Kentucky Wildcats were kicking off today. The bad news is they most certainly are not.
But the good news is we don’t have to wait much longer. It’s officially one week until the Wildcats travel to Alabama to face-off against the Auburn Tigers in the SEC only schedule debut.
Terry Wilson was interviewed on The Take yesterday and he is confident in his abilities as well as the abilities of the entire time. He was audibly excited when the opening game vs. Auburn was mentioned. His teammates have had enough of popping pads with each other. They’re ready to go after a team with a different color jersey.
We get one more week of Kentucky-less football. Let’s hope it flies!
