Randy Bullock injury update

Sunday was a tough pill to swallow for the Bengals.

In the span of two plays, the Bengals watched a game-winning touchdown called back due to a question OPI call, then watched Randy Bullock miss a 31-yard field goal that would have sent the game into overtime.

Adding insult to injury, Bullock supposedly hurt himself on the kick, though he didn’t seem too sure which calf he injured.

Well the good news is Bullock’s crippling injury seems to be ok as he looks to gut it out and play Thursday against the Browns, who already cut their kicker after one game.

Bullock is in the final year of a two-year, $4.2 million extension he signed with the Bengals in September of 2018. He’ll need to rebound from Sunday’s debacle if he wants to keep his job for the rest of 2020 and beyond. Don’t be surprised if the Bengals start working out kickers this week just in case.
