It is interesting to see how the Arizona Cardinals, and the rest of the NFL for that matter are approaching this season.
The Cardinals made three moves that seem inconsequential this week, cutting undrafted free agents Jake Benzinger an offensive lineman from Wake Forest, Reggie Floyd a safety and likely special teamer from Virginia Tech and Rashad Medaris a wide receiver from Cincinnati.
That lead to the Cardinals signing three free agent NFL veterans and coincidentally they were offensive lineman Koda Martin who was an undrafted free agent that was with the Los Angeles Chargers last year, Kentrell Brice a four-year safety that played with the Packers and Buccaneers and finally Andre Patton who has been with the Chargers for a bit on their practice squad before getting time in 2019.
It is the biggest question mark of the offseason for not just the Cardinals but the NFL.
What are they going to do with the undrafted free agent crop? Will there be players who get their shot this year or will it be a much smaller ratio of undrafted players on rosters?
Something that is not talked about in the grand scheme of things, but definitely something to watch.
