Skyy Clark has an interesting favorite Kentucky player

Kentucky has had a plethora of point guards come through Lexington during John Calipari’s tenure. We’ve seen John Wall and Brandon Knight. Andrew Harrison and Tyler Ulis. De’Aaron Fox and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

It shouldn’t come as a shock to any one that five-star point guard Skyy Clark has modeled his game after a former Kentucky Wildcats point guard.

But what should come as a shock is who it is.

In an interview with Larry Vaught, Clark’s father revealed that Skyy’s favorite Kentucky player and point guard is none other than Ryan Harrow.

Yep, you read that right.

“He loves Ryan Harrow,” said Kenny Clark, Skyy’s father. “Ryan’s trainer, Mark Edwards, is a close friend of ours. Mark has always been there to help mentor Skyy.”

“He saw Ryan on YouTube and fell in love with his game,” Kenny Clark said. “He is still studying Ryan Harrow to this day.”

Harrow, of course, is sort of infamous at Kentucky, being a part of the lone NIT team, and eventually transferring out to Georgia State after two years with the program.

But, if it helps getting Skyy Clark on to play in Lexington, then I love Ryan Harrow.
