Live: Simulating 20 best games of 2020 (Minnesota at Wisconsin)

The 2020 college football season will be here before you know it, and to get you ready we have unloaded a ton of preseason content previewing the teams, players and much more at 247Sports.

Among the hearty information in the preseason preview is the top 20 games of the 2020 season. We went back and forth on the topic with our readers on The Blue Board, and starting this week we will settle — and stoke — the discussion by simulating the games. We picked up a copy of the last game in the NCAA Football franchise and downloaded the latest fan-made roster for the 2020 season, and set up our 20 games in the system.

We continue the series of live simulations today at 3:30 p.m. CT here at 247Sports.com.

The stream will go live at noon and the replay (along with a recap) will be provided below once the game concludes.

11. Minnesota at Wisconsin (Oct. 10)

Minnesota and Wisconsin meet as the top two contenders in the Big Ten West in mid-October. Wisconsin has the edge playing at Camp Randall, but Minnesota returns do-everything quarterback Tanner Morgan and top receiver Rashod Bateman. Wisconsin must replace 2,000-yard running back Jonathan Taylor.

Defensively, Wisconsin has to replace two of the top three sack producers in the Big Ten. Minnesota’s defense must improve with six starters returning to win the division, and losing All-American safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is a big blow.

Will it be a low-scoring game or a back-and-forth offensive explosion? Good luck predicting this one in the preseason.
