Coming from Foster High School in Richmond, TX, Fatheree strikes an imposing figure at 6’8″ and 305 pounds. While there were many major programs vying for his commitment (including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Southern Cal), he chose the Aggies, who were the first college program to offer him a scholarship shortly after his freshman season in December 2017.
Fatheree is ranked as the #23 player in Texas, the #18 offensive tackle in the country and the #140 recruit overall nationally according to the 247 Composite Rankings. He is A&M’s 10th commit in the 2021 class, and their third offensive tackle commit, joining Trey Zuhn and Matthew Wykoff. All three players stand 6’5” or taller and weigh north of 300 pounds. Fatheree’s commitment also moves the Aggies’ class into the top 20 nationally, now ranked 18th.
