On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D’Amico examine which members of the Buffalo Bills (outside of starting quarterback Josh Allen) are the most indispensable players, and which developmental prospects have the most potential.
The Buffalo Bills have been remarkably healthy over the past few seasons, but we all know the NFL is a violent sport where injuries occur.
On Billieve, Boccacino and D’Amico take a look at which players the Bills ill afford to lose to injury if they want to be successful and make a deep run in the playoffs in 2020. This could be a starter at a position where the Bills don’t have much depth, or a starter with bad backups/untested players behind him, or a position that plays a key role in a team’s success.
For the sake of this exercise, we excluded quarterback Josh Allen, as all 32 NFL teams should expect to see their season’s hopes dashed with the loss of their starting quarterback.
Hear who we feel are the players most closely tied to the team’s chances at going far in the playoffs, then hear our thoughts on which developmental prospects (those selected in the sixth or seventh round of the NFL draft and those who were undrafted) can have the biggest impact on the team moving forward.
Players discussed on this week’s podcast include: Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, John Brown, Cole Beasley, Dawson Knox, Dion Dawkins, Ty Nsekhe, Daryl Williams, Trey Adams, Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, Tre’Davious White, Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Josh Norman, E.J. Gaines, Levi Wallace, Siran Neal, Dean Marlowe, Jaquan Johnson, Darryl Johnson, and Vosean Joseph.
