Roswell New Mexico teases the danger with ‘Linger’

Roswell New Mexico is kicking the danger into high gear.

Michael and Alex might not be getting along quite as well as we might hope at the end of episode 10 “American Woman,” as we may like, but all bets are off when one of these men goes missing. And in the preview for the newest episode of Roswell New Mexico, “Linger,” it’s clear that Michael isn’t going to stop until he finds Alex.

At the end of the last episode of Roswell, we watched as Alex gets hit over the head and shoved into a car trunk. We have no idea who has him at this point, but we do know that he has a piece of alien technology on him when he is taken.

And in the preview for episode 11, it is clear that Michael knows that Alex has been taken and he is determined to find the other man. This means confronting the other man’s father, Jesse. Jesse claims he is also worried about his son, but based on the few seconds we see him, he certainly doesn’t look like a concerned father.

While Michael is using his alien powers and getting angry over his missing man, he doesn’t seem to be the only danger in Roswell. In fact, “Linger” makes it clear that more people are getting hurt in town and it is not just Alex who is in trouble.

Even Max is trying to figure out what is going on, and it seems like he may know something. He seems prepared to tell Liz what is going on with him, although he may not be telling his girlfriend about the visions or flashbacks he is having. With Max, you never know how much he is going to share with others.

Honestly, the promo video for “Linger” seems to be setting up the final episodes of season 2 as darker than we have seen before, and perhaps even more dangerous. With Alex being kidnapped, this is not exactly surprising.

Something sinister is happening in Roswell, and this time it has nothing to do with Noah. Sadly, we have no clue what it really does have to do with, but it is certainly interesting to realize that a lot of this seems to have been triggered by the aliens’ desire to learn more about their past and where they came from.

Someone or maybe even something doesn’t want Max, Michael and Isobel to uncover the truth about themselves. And yet, there is no way to stop them from learning what really happened to their parents.

Roswell is clearly setting us up for a big finish in season 2, and we can’t wait.
