Jaguars’ Gardner Minshew has awesome ‘My cause, my cleats’ cause

Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew will return under center for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, replacing a benched Nick Foles.

He’ll do so in fashion as the NFL’s annual “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign kicks off.

Mineshew will be supporting Movember, an organization that focuses on men’s health. That includes prevention of prostate cancer and testicular cancer as well as mental health and suicide prevention.

It’s a great cause. His cleats for the game are also pretty darn amazing.

Yes, that’s Minshew’s way of telling men to check their nuts.

In typical Minshew Mania fashion, the rookie sixth-round pick is putting his original spin on the tremendous annual event around the NFL.

We support it fully.
