Astros Crawfish Boil: November 22nd, 2019 (POLL)

Hi everyone. I’m traveling back to Texas today to spend some time with my family after a death in my family. Because of that I won’t be able to do a full boil this morning and our other writers are busy today, but we didn’t want to leave our readers without any platform for discussion.

I received the suggestion from one of our other writers about possibly doing a poll and, after some thought, decided to see what exactly everyone here thinks happened in 2017. This stemmed from the fact that I see a lot of people talking about how Astros fans are denying that any form of cheating took place, so I wanted to see how true that was among our readership.

Of course I understand if people want to talk about anything else, and please consider this an open thread for the day. Someone will be along for the weekend boil tomorrow, but in the meantime please take the poll and let us know if you have anything else on your mind.

Obviously, the spectrum of positions on the subject is not limited to these 4 discreet options, but select the one that most closely aligns with your feelings on the matter.

Yes, they are guilty of cheating and it is a big deal to me as a fan. I am disappointed in the Astros.

Yes, they stole signs and relayed them electronically, but it’s not that big of a deal.

Yes, they stole signs and used a trash can to alert batters, but it was legal, as they did not use electronic aids.

No, they did not cheat or have any trash can signaling system. These are allegations and narratives fabricated by a retaliatory media, other organizations and their fanbases.
