Let the chaos commence.
Georgia’s dramatic loss at the hands of South Carolina created a seismic shift in both the SEC landscape and the AP Top 25. It also gave us a clearer indication of what to expect as we head toward the initial College Football Playoff Poll.
With LSU establishing itself as the second-best team — possibly the best — in the SEC, the man leading the newfound offensive charge for the Tigers is also establishing himself as the leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy.
Kinnick Who Do?
Penn State once again survived the dark magic of a night game at Kinnick Stadium. This time around, the voodoo forced the visitors to battle more than just the Hawkeyes.
Plenty went into Penn State’s close but convincing victory. The Nittany Lions didn’t allow the Hawkeyes to push them around, and Noah Cain may have established himself as the premier running back in the Nittany Lions’ loaded committee.
White Out Weekend
The most anticipated weekend of each season is finally upon us, and the college football world will turn its attention to Happy Valley this Saturday as Penn State takes on Michigan in a primetime White Out atmosphere.
Two years removed from being the White Out opponent in 2017, the Wolverines are once again preparing to face one of the most raucous environment in sports with quite a bit on the line for both sides.
There’s been plenty of adversity for Jim Harbaugh this season, and Saturday will certainly be used as a measuring stick to judge where the 5-1 Wolverines’ season will head.
Moxie Meter Makes Its Return
If there’s one thing the new-era XFL will need to succeed, it’s moxie. Thankfully, the league is about to get a high dose of it.

That’s right, Matt McGloin is making his return to football with the XFL’s New York Guardians. The XFL kicks off its inaugural season in February 2020.
Let’s hope McGloin’s XFL career produces more magical moments.
