College Gameday Coming to Penn State for White Out Game Against Michigan

ESPN’s College Gameday Twitter account has announced that the hit show will be making a trip to State College for the third consecutive year and third consecutive whiteout. The Nittany Lions will welcome the top-25 ranked Michigan Wolverines (4-1) to town.

Gameday was in Happy Valley a year ago for the White Out game between the Nittany Lions and Ohio State. They also made the trip in 2017 for the White Out game against Michigan, a game Penn State won 42-13. Additionally, it’s worth noting that this is Penn State’s fifth appearance overall since 2016 after also being featured on the show for games against Wisconsin (Big Ten Championship – 2016) and at Ohio State (2017).

Overall, this marks the eighth trip to State College for Reece Davis, Kirk Herbsteit, and company. Penn State is 3-4 in the previous seven games including a 1-1 record when facing the Wolverines.

With Gameday coming to town, State College should once again be rocking throughout the week in anticipation of what is not only a White Out but another pivotal game in a potentially special season for the program. Crowds have been tremendous in both of the show’s last two trips to Happy Valley and the same should be expected this upcoming weekend.
