(I had much more written here but that’s when I assumed the Rangers were going to lose. It’s always pleasant to hit the ol’ backspace on a loss that becomes a win!)

Player of the Game: Jose Trevino hit the first big league home run of his career. I haven’t checked but I’m pretty sure that ties him with Jeff Mathis.

Up Next: Not one but two Texas Rangers baseball games with LHP Brock Burke set to make his MLB debut against RHP Jaime Barria at 1:05 pm CT (yeesh) and then LHP Joe Palumbo will make his return to the majors to take on LHP Andrew Heaney at 7:05 pm CT. Godspeed, young hurlers.
