Lakers Want to Talk to Dwight Howard

Following DeMarcus Cousins, ACL injury, the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly interested in speaking with Dwight Howard, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic. Howard is currently with the Memphis Grizzlies, and while the Grizzlies have not bought out Howard’s contract yet, he is not expected to play this upcoming season. Howard was traded to the Grizzlies in early July for C.J. Miles.

They may also be interested in Joakim Noah.

Currently, the only center on the Lakers’ roster is Javale McGee. Were Howard to sign with the Lakers, it would be his second stint. He played for Los Angeles in the 2012-13 season.
