Last night, Oregon picked up a commitment from former UNLV forward Shakur Juiston

He’s immediately eligible as a grad transfer for the 2019-2020 season. He provides a much needed option in the front court for the Ducks.

ESPN has him ranked as the third best graduate transfer.

The 6’7 220 forward has career averages of 13.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals per game according to his college basketball reference page. He’s a career 40% three point shooter.

The Oregonian reports that he missed a majority of last season due to a knee injury and subsequently received a medical redshirt.

His last fully healthy season, he was second on the Runnin’ Rebels in points and rebounds while ranking third in assists.

Welcome to Eugene, Shakur!
