Costa feigned ignorance as the mascot turned around to work out who was the culprit
The former Chelsea star noticed the mascot, standing in front of team-mate Vitolo, swivel round to flash him a grin as they lined up before kick-off.
He then pounced, tapping the kid’s far shoulder so that he would whirl around in the wrong direction to see who had poked him.
He turns to Costa, who betrays no emotion, and then looks at Vitolo, who is scratching his chin.
Having gotten away with it the first time, Costa repeats the trick one more time.

The Spanish international’s fun did not last long in the game.
