Arsenal scouts are set to watch Sampdoria pair Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet when they take on Juventus, according to reports.

Sampdoria host the Italian giants this weekend in the final game of the Serie A season, with little on the line for either side.

But while there is not too much to play for, Sampdoria duo Andersen and Praet will be very keen to impress on Sunday evening.

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal scouts will be in attendance to watch Sampdoria defender Andersen and midfielder Praet.

They report that Arsenal are ‘interested’ in the duo, before claiming it wouldn’t be the first time the Gunners have kept an eye on Andersen and Praet.

Arsenal did business with Sampdoria last summer, bringing in Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, who quickly became a fan favourite at the club.

However, they are set to face competition for Andersen’s signature from north London rivals Tottenham, who are reportedly interested in his services.

Unai Emery is looking to bolster his squad and bring in new faces that suit his philosophy ahead of his second season in charge at the Emirates.
