Jimmy Butler trade request from Timberwolves to one of three teams

Jimmy Butler trade request his been getting a lot of attention.  The Minnesota Timberwolves star has said he wants a trade request out of Minnesota.  He later went on to say that he would like to be traded to any one of three teams.

Reports indicate that Butler has requested a trade. Judging by his list, he’s not extremely concerned with winning right away, and wants to become a franchise cornerstone, get paid, and have the team build around him. The Knicks with Kristaps Porzingis would be an intriguing landing spot that could theoretically be turned into a contender with the right moves.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Jimmy Butler trade request to three preferred destinations are the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, and New York Knicks. None are contenders right now, but all will have a lot of cap space to give Butler a max deal going forward.
